Meet Susan

Hello, I’m Susan, the founder of Flow Wellbeing. My aim is to help clients feel better about themselves and live their best lives, believing that prevention is better than cure.

At Flow Wellbeing, our blended treatments can ease symptoms, working with nature to bring harmony and balance to the body.

My wellbeing journey began when I started yoga classes. Full body workouts. Focused mind. Relaxation. I trained as a yoga teacher and studied Mindfulness at university. Giving my stressed body, mind, and spirit a break, healing from trauma.

And it worked, until my daughter, Katie, aged 12, became sick with chronic fatigue. It’s heart breaking watching your child withdraw from the world, too ill to leave her bed.

I tried everything. Every area of western medicine. Home schooling as much as possible. One day, my yoga teacher suggested an acupuncturist who had helped her. In desperation we went. After a period of treatment, Katie flourished. She’s a young adult now, fully recovered, working in the film industry. Every day I pinch myself at her recovery.

It’s a short version of a very long story, but I needed to understand how Katie got better.

It’s a job I never thought I’d do. Studying and practicing wellbeing and traditional East Asian medicine for over 10 years, I’ve developed complementary therapy skills that make a difference. I’m a member of the Acupuncture Society.

Work with me to feel better and live your best life.
